October 30, 2014, Pittsburgh – Traci S. Rea, an insurance recovery partner in the Pittsburgh office of Reed Smith LLP, received the “2014 Most Powerful & Influential Woman Award” from the Pennsylvania Diversity Council.

The award was presented at the Most Powerful & Influential Woman Award’s Breakfast on October 29 at the Council’s Pittsburgh Leadership Conference on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.

Rea joined Reed Smith in 1995. She served a clerkship for the Honorable Carol Los Mansmann in the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals from 1997 to 1999, returning to Reed Smith upon its completion.

She served on Reed Smith’s firmwide Diversity Committee for the past five years and served as the first Pittsburgh City Lead for law student mentoring for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
