International law firm Reed Smith has acted for Alpha Tiger Property Trust Limited in admitting its shares to trading on the Specialist Fund Market of the London Stock Exchange and delisting them from AIM.

Alpha Tiger Property Trust Limited, an existing client of the firm, is a closed-ended investment company incorporated in Guernsey that targets investment and development opportunities in real estate, including real estate operating companies, securities, services and other related businesses.

On admission to the SFM Alpha Tiger had a market capitalisation of £36.98m.

The London based Reed Smith team led by partner James Wilkinson included funds partner Oliver s'Jacob and associates Ruth Grigor and Matt Evans.

James Wilkinson, Reed Smith partner and head of the firm’s Europe and Middle East corporate group, commented:

“The Specialist Fund Market is one of the lesser known markets of the London Stock Exchange that is dedicated to specialist closed ended investment funds and institutional, professional and knowledgeable investors.

“Alpha Tiger Property Trust Limited is an existing client to the firm, our real estate group having represented them previously. It was a pleasure to be introduced to the team and provide them with extended legal advice from our funds and corporate teams.”
