Four partners from global law firm Reed Smith have received awards for excellent client service from the International Law Office and Lexology in their Client Choice awards 2014. The firm’s Paris office also won a firm award.
London partner Richard Swinburn won for trade and customs, Paris partner Marc Fredj won for M&A, Washington, D.C. partner Michael J. Lowell won for trade and customs for the District of Columbia, and Pittsburgh partner Dodi Walker Gross won for employment & labour for Pennsylvania.
The Client Choice awards, established in 2005, recognise firms and partners that stand out for exceptional client service. The awards are held in such high regard because they focus on the ability to add real value to clients’ businesses.
The winners are selected following a readership survey of International Law Office and Lexology’s in-house counsel subscribers. This year over 2,000 senior in-house counsel responded, rating lawyers and law firms on: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology.
