Global law firm Reed Smith today announced the appointment of Christian Thomas Stempfle to its Commercial Disputes Group in Munich. Christian will join the firm from Noerr in April.
Christian advises and represents companies and private individuals, nationally and internationally, in court cases and arbitrations, especially cross border litigation, liability and insurance, transport and logistics, shareholder and post M&A disputes. In insolvency related disputes, he frequently acts on behalf of insolvency administrators. He is also active in criminal prevention advice and criminal defence in investigations and trials.
Christian is the third partner to join the firm’s Munich office in the last 12 months. His arrival follows that of partners Justus Binder (private equity) and Thomas Gierath (tax).

Since its launch in 2005, Reed Smith’s Munich office has experienced significant growth and now has a team of about 30 lawyers. To support the office expansion and in anticipation of further growth, the firm will be relocating its offices from Theatinerstrasse to new and larger premises at Ludwig Palais, von-der-Tann-Strasse in the first half of 2013.
