Our practices are built on the relationships women enjoy with clients and colleagues in the business community. Therefore, networking events are a regular and important part of our activities. Each office hosts an annual networking event where women meet and network in a relaxed setting with other professionals, as well as community and political leaders.
Previous networking events have included:
- A guided tour of the Jackie Kennedy Exhibit at both the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
- A Chocolate Tasting evening with the Chocolate Society at One Aldwych Hotel in San Francisco
- A reception at the David Lawrence Convention Center with remarks from the Hon. Edward G. Rendell, Governor of Pennsylvania
- An evening at the Jonathan Beach Club in Los Angeles, featuring acclaimed fiction novelist, Laura Caldwell
- A talk on Feng Shui in London and the Midlands
- A movie screening in New York of an unreleased movie at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, followed by a discussion led by film critics Jeffrey Lyons (WNBC, Today in NY and MSNBC) and Roberta Burrows
- An invitation to “women of intelligence” for a private tour of the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., and “intelligence” gathering on the women attorneys of Reed Smith
- A wine and cheese tasting at Freeman’s Auction House in Philadelphia, with special guest speakers Lydia A. Cain of Freeman's and Alan Miller, an antique furniture consultant
