The Education Law team represents a large number of public school boards in Virginia, as well as some nationally, in such matters as employment, construction, constitutional law, conflict of interest, freedom of information, contracts, student rights and special education. The team also has experience in issues affecting higher education. The group's extensive skill is derived from more than 75 years of experience in education law, and in litigation in state and federal courts.
Labor & Employment
Our Labor & Employment team routinely counsels employers on all employment-related matters, including policies and practices, discrimination, sexual harassment, and FMLA, ADA and ADEA issues. We provide a full range of services for our clients, from conducting or advising on internal investigations, through handling EEOC and other external charges of discrimination, to representation in federal or state court, if necessary. We routinely advise management on labor issues and represent management in labor arbitrations. We also engage in state law actions, including non-competition, tortious interference, defamation and conspiracy claims.
Product Liability
Our Product Liability lawyers represent pharmaceutical, medical device, manufacturing and high-tech companies doing business in Virginia, throughout the nation, and globally. We proactively counsel clients so that they can effectively address potential risks in a rapidly changing tort, regulatory, and litigation environment. In addition, we defend clients in high-stakes mass tort litigations, as well as in traditional product liability claims.

Directions
From the North
Take I-95 south into Richmond; pass exit 75 (previous exit) and continue to exit 74A, Downtown Expressway. Bear to the right after exiting towards Canal Street. Pay the 20 cent toll, and go up to the stop light. Turn left at this light onto 10th Street. Riverfront Plaza is straight ahead. Continue down 10th street, passing the Plaza, and enter the visitor parking lot in the back of the buildings.
From the East
Take I-64 West to Exit #190, 5th Street. Go 10 blocks and take a left on Cary Street. Follow Cary 5 blocks and turn right on 10th street. Follow 10th street 2 blocks to Riverfront Plaza; the twin towers are directly in front of you. Continue through the stop light across Byrd Street, go around the plaza and park in Visitor Parking at the back of the building.
Parking
All guests should park in the West Tower parking levels. Please take the West Tower elevator to the Plaza Level and follow signs to the Tower Elevators. Take the West Tower elevators to the 17th floor. Bring your parking validation ticket to Reed Smith, 17th floor of the West Tower.
