Alison is based in Reed Smith's Richmond office and is a member of the US Commercial Litigation Group. She represents businesses, financial institutions, energy and construction industry clients in state and federal courts throughout the country, both at the trial and appellate level, and in arbitration proceedings.

Alison's experience includes litigation involving contract disputes, business torts, and easement disputes. She defends financial services clients against consumer claims, including claims brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and various state statutes. Her practice also includes representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

In addition, Alison commits a portion of her practice to the representation of pro bono clients in court proceedings of all levels.
