The Shanghai office was newly established in July 2011, in the international economic, financial and trade center of China, and it is housed in the well-known Nanjing Road West.

The Shanghai office now has five lawyers who represent clients across the spectrum of industries in matters involving general corporate, cross-border investment, mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring, financing, intellectual property, import & export control, labor issues, hotel management, and litigation and arbitration.

The Shanghai office is led by Managing Partner Jay Yan, a New York-licensed lawyer who has been working in Shanghai for 15 years, and Shanghai native Zack Dong, who will service this office as well. Jay and Zack are accompanied by three experienced lawyers, Amy Yin, Liu Yang and Alex Wang, and will be joined by a team composed of partners, counsel, associates and legal consultants. The firm is currently recruiting additional lawyers to round out and strengthen its presence in Shanghai, with the intention of rapidly expanding the office.
