The summer placement programme is designed to offer students the chance to sample the working environment at Reed Smith. It is also an excellent way for the firm to be introduced to would-be trainees in a relaxed and constructive atmosphere.
The summer vacation scheme runs each year from June until August and gives the opportunity for twenty students to experience two mini-seats in the firm's departments. The placements are of two week duration in London. The aim is for students to gain a realistic representation of what trainee life would be like.
The scheme is aimed at second year law and third year non-law undergraduates. However, we will also consider graduates.
