Chris represents numerous major financial institutions in bankruptcy, commercial litigation, financial services litigation, and real estate matters. His bankruptcy field experience encompasses the representation of secured and unsecured lenders, financial institutions, entertainment companies, and banks in complex bankruptcy cases and appeals. He represents creditors, creditors committees, and debtors. Additionally, his real estate experience includes the representation of lenders in forbearance and workout negotiations and judicial and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings.
Chris was recently named a "Top Attorney" in Bankruptcy by Pasadena Magazine (2011 and 2012), was honored with Reed Smith's Edward Sanders Community Service Award in 2009, and was named a "Rising Star" by Los Angeles Magazine in 2008. Chris is the Chairman for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles Associate Advisory Board.
