Fred is involved in numerous civic and pro bono volunteer activities. He currently serves as a board member of the Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania and as a board member of the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
Fred and his wife, JoEllen, are lifelong residents of Pittsburgh and they have three children. He enjoys family activities, reading and a wide variety of sports.
