Tripp is a member of the Corporate & Securities Group in the firm's Chicago office.

While clerking at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, Tripp researched and drafted a number of memoranda providing the legal authority for proposed Truth in Lending Act regulations and for an Edge Act Corporation application. He also created and presented a detailed lecture to the Office of the Inspector General on the collapse of Bear Stearns and the response of the Federal Reserve System resulting in new insights into ongoing investigations.

Additionally, Tripp is a member of the United States Army Reserves.
