Gunjan is a senior associate in Reed Smith's Washington, D.C. office, where he practices in the Government Contracts & Grants Group.
Gunjan's practice focuses on all aspects of government procurement law, including small business matters, ethics and compliance issues, and litigation, including bid protests. Gunjan has significant experience representing small businesses in various Small Business Administration matters. Specifically, Gunjan has counselled companies on eligibility for SBA programs, complying with SBA program requirements, and size protests.
Gunjan has advised companies on various aspects of ethics and compliance and in 2010 was seconded for three months to a division of a Fortune 500 government contractor to develop a robust ethics and compliance department. During his secondment, Gunjan developed comprehensive policies on government contracting risk areas. Additionally, Gunjan has represented several contractors in suspension and debarment matters before various agencies.
Gunjan is also an experienced litigator that has represented government contractors in claims and prime/sub disputes in state and federal courts. Gunjan has also successfully represented clients in bid protests before multiple agencies, the Government Accountability Office, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
