Determining and implementing the solutions that best meet the objectives and needs of her clients, Jeanne is a member of the Financial Industry Group, practicing in the area of Commercial Restructuring & Bankruptcy. She has effectively represented and counseled:
- Financial institutions in out-of-court and state and federal court workouts, focusing on the areas of bankruptcy, distressed aviation loans, and commercial real estate loans
- Counterparties to financial contracts entitled to safe harbor protections under the Bankruptcy Code
- Oil & gas lessees in connection with section 363 bankruptcy sales, garnishment actions, and rights, remedies, and options vis-à-vis a lessor's secured lenders or judgment creditors
- Commercial real estate lessors following a default under a retail, office, or equipment lease, including filing actions for replevin and breach of contract in state court, and filing claims for payment of administrative expenses and rejection damages in a lessee's bankruptcy case
- Creditors defending preference lawsuits
- Debtors dealing with labor, pension, and OPEB obligations, including obtaining section 1113(e) relief on an emergency basis, as well as debtors' efforts to reorganize through chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, or liquidate through chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code
