Jenny is a member of the firm's Tax, Benefits & Wealth Planning Group, focusing on employee benefits and executive compensation matters. She represents clients with benefits issues in corporate mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, initial public offerings, financings, and other corporate transactions. She also represents companies and senior executives in negotiating and documenting employment and other related agreements.
Jenny counsels privately and publicly held companies on a broad range of employee benefits matters, including fiduciary issues, executive compensation matters, correction of defects, and the implementation of benefit programs and compliant administrative benefits procedures. She advises on design and compliance issues for defined benefit pension plans, profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements. Jenny also works with welfare plans, such as cafeteria plans, health plans, disability plans, dependent care plans and retiree health programs.
She has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor under various circumstances, including correction filings, benefit plan audits, and applications for tax-qualification determinations.
