John qualified as an English solicitor in 1979 and as a Member of the Athens Bar in 2000. He has lived and worked in Greece for a total of 18 years and he is now Managing Partner of our office in Greece.
Having worked for marine insurers in Greece and England for 10 years and for 14 years in private practice, John has gained invaluable experience of the Greek shipping and insurance markets. John deals with a wide range of shipping litigation, including casualties, pollution claims, crew disputes, cargo claims, as well as charter party disputes, shipbuilding disputes and ship sale and purchase arbitrations. He is also advising clients in international commercial arbitrations, in multi-jurisdictional disputes and in non-contentious insurance cases.
