Joseph is a member of the Financial Industry Group, practicing in the area of Commercial Restructuring & Bankruptcy. Joseph’s practice focuses on representing creditors in bankruptcies, foreclosures, receiverships, restructurings, and workouts. In this regard, he has represented institutional and non-institutional lenders, lead lenders/agents for lending syndicates, indenture trustees, and other secured and unsecured creditors. Joseph has also represented debtors and an unsecured creditor committee in bankruptcy cases.
In addition to his bankruptcy and restructuring practice, Joseph also has significant experience representing clients in commercial disputes that include state and federal court litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Joseph’s practice includes litigating complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, bad faith, secured transactions, and class action claims as well antitrust disputes in sectors that include banking, manufacturing, healthcare, oil and gas, construction, and real estate. He appears regularly in the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania.
