Laura joined Reed Smith as a trainee in 2009 and qualified in 2011. She is a member of the Projects and Infrastructure team specialising in construction and engineering. She has worked on a variety of projects including retail developments, wind farms, office fit outs and refurbishments, mixed-use developments, super prime housing, hospitals, transport hubs and ports, and has experience of JCT, FIDIC and other standard construction contracts, as well as bespoke contracts.
Laura has worked with a broad range of international and domestic clients including engineering companies, funders, developers and corporate end users, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Laura also has experience of advising on construction aspects of sales and purchases of real estate.
Laura is recognised as a Rising Star by the 2013 London Super Lawyers List for Construction and Civil Engineering.
