Mike is responsible for a number of important aspects of Reed Smith's Human Resources function. His primary area of responsibility is Human Resources support for various legal personnel matters and initiatives globally -- including lateral hiring and performance reviews and compensation programs. Mike also serves as the senior Human Resources advisor to firm management on personnel and policy issues. Working with Nicky Dingemans, our Global Chief People Officer, Mike helps with the design and implementation of strategic Human Resources initiatives. His work is concentrated in the U.S., but his responsibilities also include legal personnel matters in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Prior to becoming Chief Human Resources Officer in 2002, Mike was a Reed Smith partner specializing in labor and employment law.
