Michele provides firmwide support for the Litigation and Business & Finance Departments. She works with attorneys in those departments to provide legal research, memoranda, pleadings, discovery, trial preparation and other routine filings. Michele also analyzes factual and legal issues to develop litigation and resolution strategies. Her work focuses primarily on litigations pending in Oregon, Washington and California.
As a student, Michele gained legal experience by working as a law clerk/intern for a variety of companies and organizations. Following graduation, Michele provided legal advice and services to individual litigants in various fields, including bankruptcy, civil and criminal litigation, workers’ compensation, social security, and unemployment compensation.
Michele has represented clients in several Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and federal forums, including Common Pleas Courts, the Superior Court, the Workers' Compensation Office of Adjudication, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the Social Security Administration.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Michele assisted with an intricate litigation involving Sherman Antitrust Act and Lanham Act issues.
