Advised Global Hyatt Corporation on its joint venture with JER Partners, and advised that joint venture on its acquisition of London’s Great Eastern Hotel from Conran Holdings and the Blackstone Group
Advised Microsoft Corporation on its acquisition of Lionhead Studios Limited, one of the world’s leading and most innovative video game developers and creators of “Fable,” the hit Xbox and Windows franchise
Advised the IP Ventures Group of Microsoft Corporation on each of its joint ventures in Europe over the last three years
Advised Microsoft Corporation on its acquisition of online mapping services provider Multimap
Acting for the largest UK charity by income, The GAVI Fund Affiliate, in relation to its entry into grant agreements with seven governments and a framework agreement with those governments, International Finance Facility for Immunisation Company (‘IFFIm’) and the World Bank. Those grants are being used to finance bonds issued by IFFIm which will provide upfront funding for accelerated vaccination programmes organised by GAVI (formerly the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation) in some of the poorest countries in the world.
