Jacob Thride
Jacob is a member of the Corporate & Securities Group, focusing on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and general corporate matters.
Jacob is also a member of the Social and Digital Media Task Force. He co-authored the Securities chapter of the Social Media White Paper entitled "A Legal Guide to the Commercial Risks and Rewards of the Social Media Phenomenon."

Represented Drives Incorporated, an Illinois-based manufacturing firm, in the sale of its stock to a private equity firm, Richard L. Scott Investments, in a transaction valued at approximately $42 million.
Represented Lime Energy Co., a NASDAQ-listed public company focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy consulting, in its acquisition of Applied Energy Management, Inc.
Represented Lime Energy Co. in its acquisition of Advanced Biotherapy, Inc. a public company traded on the OTCBB. This acquisition involved the initial purchase of the majority of the outstanding stock of Advanced Biotherapy, Inc. and a subsequent short form merger.
Represented Broech Corporation, the leading world-wide Oracle consulting firm, and its shareholders in the sale of the company to the U.S. division of Rolta India Limited.
Represented Colson Group Holdings, Inc. in connection with a $60 million credit facility and term loan from Bank of America, N.A.
