Addie practices intellectual property litigation, focusing on cases involving patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition. She also has substantial experience representing clients in other complex commercial litigation, including software license disputes, breach of contract claims, fraud and business-related torts.
Addie’s patent litigation experience includes cases involving both design and utility patents representing both plaintiffs and defendants. She has represented clients in patent cases involving multiple products and designs, including printer cartridges, cellular telephone technology and design, DVD technology, mechanical garbage truck arms, computer software, games and hardware, tire treads and pharmaceuticals. Among other things, she assisted in a patent infringement jury trial which resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict for the client.
Addie’s trademark, copyright and commercial litigation experience includes substantial experience prosecuting and defending TRO’s and preliminary injunctions, as well as working on all aspects of cases through discovery, motion practice, pretrial and trial phases of litigation. She has represented clients in litigation involving complex technologies as well as a wide range of traditional goods and services in multiple industries.

Addie grew up south of San Francisco, in Santa Cruz. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, Kyle Noone, and two children, Josephine and Kellen. She enjoys painting, cooking and most outdoor activities.
