Drew is an associate in the Advertising Media & Technology Group in the firm’s Washington office, practicing in the areas of intellectual property, advertising, media, and unfair competition law.

In the areas of advertising and unfair competition, Drew counsels clients on a variety of transactional and regulatory matters, and regularly represents clients in their dealings with the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, and the Council of Better Business Bureaus’ various self-regulatory arms.  Drew’s practice in these areas has particular focus on intellectual property and technology-related matters.

In addition, Drew represents numerous clients in the media and entertainment sectors, including film and television producers, film festivals, sporting events, and individuals, with the acquisition, development, distribution, and protection of their content. 

Preceding his legal career, Drew graduated from the Cornell University School of Hospitality Administration, and was a manager of hospitality operations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and KSL Resorts.  He continues to represent hotel, restaurant, and other hospitality-related clients in a variety of operational and regulatory matters.
