Cynthia is a partner in the European Corporate Group and a core member of the firm’s multi-disciplinary Outsourcing Group. Cynthia specialises in large, complex IT and business process outsourcing transactions and advises on all aspects of sourcing and procurement-related transactions for both customers and service providers in the health care/life sciences, financial services, technology and telecommunications sectors.
Cynthia has advised on technology-related outsourcing transactions for application development and management; e-commerce, including hosting and content management; systems integration; and telecommunications. She has also advised on business process outsourcing transactions including human resources, finance and accounting, facilities management and healthcare provision.
Cynthia advises on European and global data privacy directives and legislation, including compliance, advice on cross-border transfers of personal data, internet-based marketing, IT and organisational security and development of privacy and data retention policies.
Cynthia presented on EU Data Protection to the CSO Breakfast Club in Washington D.C. on March 23, 2010. Prior to the presentation, CSO Breakfast Founder Bill Sieglein conducted a brief interview with Cynthia on the topic of EU Data Protection and the biggest take-away for companies.
