Ann has more than two decades of experience in the insurance recovery field. She counsels clients on insurance policy terms and renewals, claim presentation, management and negotiation, and advises corporations concerning insurance issues that arise in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Ann's areas of expertise include Directors & Officers, product liability, product recall and contamination claims and policies, as well as toxic tort and environmental claims.

Ann is an expert in the settlement of complex insurance disputes, with a special focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Ann has represented clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She also counsels clients in connection with the operation of coverage in place agreements. She also was one of the first developers of computerized insurance allocation models for long-tail claims. These models have been used in product liability, environmental remediation and toxic tort claims.

In addition, Ann has acted as insurance coverage counsel to debtors, asbestos claimants committees and future claimant representatives in §524(g) bankruptcy proceedings. In the April 2007 issue of The Deal’s Bankruptcy Insider, Ann was ranked second as active legal advisor to asbestos claimants of bankrupt companies.
