Arash is a partner in the Abu Dhabi office, who specialises in acquisitions and divestments across a range of industries and jurisdictions; fundraising, including early and expansion stage venture capital investment for emerging growth companies; joint ventures, strategic alliances and co-ownership structures (establishing and restructuring); privatizations; and projects.
His clients include public and private companies and government entities in various industries, including defence, energy, financial services, healthcare, infrastructure, IT, tourism and transport.

Representative Matters
Representing The Interpublic Group of Companies Inc. in relation to the acquisition of a majority interest in a Bahraini holding company with 90 operating subsidiaries in the advertising and media industries across 16 countries in the Middle East and North Africa
Represented a listed Abu Dhabi energy company in relation to the acquisition of facilities for receiving, ancillary storage, processing and re-gasification of liquefied natural gas in the Netherlands, Wales, U.S., Canada, France, Indonesia and Pakistan with deal value of €2 billion and the evaluation and unsuccessful bid for off-shore and on-shore petroleum assets in Egypt
Representing a listed Abu Dhabi oil and gas exploration and production company in the evaluation of and aborted bid for a 20% indirect interest in a listed Indonesian company, with E&P operations, four power plants with total capacity of 1,798 MW capacity, a methanol plant, an LPG plant, an ethanol plant and a rig business in Indonesia as well as E&P operations in Canada, Cambodia, Libya, Oman, Tunisia, the U.S. and Yemen
Representing the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council as project counsel on the Abu Dhabi Capital District infrastructure project. The Capital District is an iconic master planned development comprising 4,900 hectares and will be the symbolic and administrative centre for government, education and information-based institutions for the United Arab Emirates
Representing the Abu Dhabi Center for Housing & Service Facilities Development on numerous construction projects with a total project value of approximately AED14 billion. The Center has a mandate to build more than 17,000 new homes for Emiratis across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by the end of 2010. The new communities will include facilities such as schools and mosques. We are additionally representing the Center in relation to the construction of several special projects for Abu Dhabi including the new Abu Dhabi Racecourse, the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, a new Fishermen’s Harbour and the new headquarters of the Family Development Foundation
