Adam is a senior associate, based in New York, within the global Advertising Technology & Media Group at Reed Smith. Adam’s legal background includes diverse, complex and extensive experience both in business law counseling and in advising on advertising, technology and media-related matters.

Adam’s experience in the area of information technology spans both strategic and commercial software licensing, large-scale procurement, e-commerce-related matters, financial services, health care and medical devices, wireless technology, outsourcing and gaming.

In the area of advertising, Adam regularly counsels clients on traditional, online and mobile marketing/advertising related matters, advertising and marketing agreements, media buying, trademark/brand licensing, user generated content, privacy, sweepstakes, contests, gaming and advergaming, website and WAP site development, digital content development/distribution/aggregation, celebrity endorsements and more.  He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Adlaw By Request, the firm's highly respected blog on the latest developments in the advertising industry.

Having served as the General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Spiral Solutions Ltd., an international interactive marketing and technology development company in the gaming industry prior to joining Reed Smith, Adam has acquired extensive experience and familiarity representing advertising agencies and negotiating gaming transactions.

Adam has also developed a proficiency in the field of design, as he represents a number of the leading designers worldwide. He has negotiated a broad range of design agreements for his clients, ranging from hotel casinos and resorts and luxury condominiums to sports apparel/equipment, jewelry and packaging. Adam also represents a foreign furniture design retailer with both retail and distribution operations across North America.

Adam’s corporate and business law experience includes representing companies ranging from large, established businesses to entrepreneurial initiatives in the design, software, mobile, advertising and social networking fields. Adam regularly counsels clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, financings, partnership, shareholder and operating agreements, employment and consulting agreements.

Adam is also a sought after resource in the legal community and has spoken on numerous panels, presented at conferences and written extensively on issues involving technology, advertising, media and health care.  Recently, he was a featured speaker on the local cable show "Law Talk Today" reaching millions of subscribers.
