He has represented buyers and sellers in major acquisitions in the life sciences and health care industry, focusing on due diligence, change of ownership issues, regulatory approvals and related regulatory issues.

Paul has conducted internal investigations on behalf of health care providers alleged to have submitted false claims to federal health care programs. He has represented hospitals and imaging centers in disclosing and refunding Medicare overpayments and in defending false claim investigations brought by the Department of Justice and the Office of Inspector General.
