Representative Matters

  • Represented a major manufacturer and marketer of products for the detection and treatment of vulnerable plaque disease, in its initial public offering of common stock.  The company is listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange, and Reed Smith assisted the company in all aspects, including clearing its registration statement through the SEC.

  • Represented Napo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company discovering and commercializing drugs from natural sources, in connection with its initial public offering that was sponsored and underwritten by Nomura Code Securities.  The project involved extensive collaboration between our Californian and London offices.

  • Represented a molecular diagnostics company in numerous common stock offerings, valued at $86 million, $62 million, $10 million, $28 million and $92 million.

  • Advised a leading provider of advanced fuel cell power solutions for sub-kilowatt portable, remote and mobile applications, as nominated adviser and broker on the flotation of a U.S. corporation, on AIM.

  • Represented a pharmaceutical company in the acquisition of a laboratory and manufacturing facility in Puerto Rico.
