Even before EPA's September 21, 2007 announcement of its decision to regulate ion generators as pesticides under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, our environmental attorneys were involved in assessing potential impacts from the use of nanomaterials.
Our attorneys have made numerous presentations to clients, as well as to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, on the potential regulation of nanomaterials, including risk mitigation strategies, and we are currently active in counseling clients in this developing area.
