IP Moves
As corporations grow larger, technology grows more complex and the world grows smaller, wading through the swamp of IP issues grows harder still. Recently, the United States Congress has shown an interest in shaping major changes in the law, particularly in the patent area, and the U.S. Supreme Court has shown a willingness to jump into the fray more than at any time in the past. We hope in IP Moves to provide insight into these changes in the law, in the United States, the United Kingdom, throughout the European Union and other countries, as well as to provide updates and overviews on important legal issues that have guided decisions for some time. Just as the area of law in which we IP lawyers practice is changing, so too is the face of Reed Smith. We have grown larger and more complex as a firm and our IP practice has grown and developed accordingly. We hope that IP Moves will give its readers an opportunity to renew old acquaintances and introduce you to our new lawyers and their practices. Edited by Cynthia E. Kernick.
