René's practice focuses on banking & financing matters. He has substantial experience in syndicated lending, acquisition finance, loan restructurings, non-performing loan transactions and structured finance transactions. He also advises clients on all legal aspects of national and international real estate transactions, acquisition finance, asset management issues, and lease agreements comprising, inter alia, the acquisition of commercial and industrial properties by way of sale-and-lease-back transactions.

Furthermore, René has substantial knowledge in the area of asset management including investment and regulatory law for more than seven years. René advises regularly on the launch, administration, notification and distribution of financial products, hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds by way of public offering or private placement. He also advises on outsourcing solutions for investment companies, prime brokerage, the establishment of German capital investment companies, banking and financial services licences, and cross border activities of foreign investment companies and financial institutions within Germany.
