Tom is a counsel in the Corporate & Securities and Finance Groups and is located in the firm’s Falls Church office. His practice is diverse and includes counseling clients on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions and a wide variety of other general corporate and commercial matters, including general business formation, planning and advice for entities and their owners. He also counsels on real estate development and other joint venture arrangements, loan and credit facilities, venture capital and alternative investments, fund formation and other financial oriented matters. Tom has recently worked in the corporate governance department of a major firm client counseling on regulatory issues in the financial sector.

Tom has a finance background and has worked both in finance and accounting prior to becoming a transactional lawyer. His legal and private sector business experience enables him to assist a diverse base of clients leading complex and sophisticated transactions, as well as to serve as practical legal advisor for day-day business matters. He has provided practical legal advice in the above-mentioned areas, as well as matters of leasing, antitrust, trade regulation, product sale and distribution, technology and service licensing and outsourcing.
