(July 13, 2009, Falls Church & Richmond, VA) – Nine  lawyers from Reed Smith LLP, one of the 15 largest law firms in the world, have been selected for inclusion in Virginia Super Lawyers 2009.  Five of the lawyers practice in the firm’s Falls Church office, four practice in its Richmond office.

Their selection was based on a statewide nomination process, review of resumes, and peer evaluation by practice area.  Only five percent of attorneys in Virginia were chosen for the honor.

Two young lawyers at Reed Smith – one  in Falls Church, and one in Richmond – were named among the state’s Rising Stars for the year.
