Reed Smith is pleased to be co-chairing the Latin Lawyer and Global Arbitration Review summit on Thursday 27 April in Miami.
Miami-based José I. Astigarraga, leader of Reed Smith’s International Arbitration Practice will serve as a chair of the one-day conference and London-based partner Chloe Carswell will be taking part in the GAR LIVE debate before a panel of judges on whether there is too much transparency in international arbitration.
The summit has been designed to allow a forum for debate for cutting-edge substantive issues as well as incorporating the perspective of in-house counsel in the region. This event will bring together Latin Lawyer’s deep knowledge of Latin America with GAR’s sharp focus on the latest developments in arbitration.
Reed Smith’s Miami office opened last week with the arrival of a seven-lawyer International Arbitration and Litigation Practice from Astigarraga Davis. The office will serve as a gateway to Latin America, where many of the firm’s clients have operations, and the firm’s global clients rely on international arbitration.
