Cristina is a partner in our San Francisco office, whose practice is specifically focused on representing corporate policyholders in disputes against their insurance companies. Most recently, Cristina has been part of a legal team representing a Fortune 500 financial institution in multiple cases throughout the country involving mortgage insurance, subprime mortgage claims and mortgage fraud claims. In that highly complex representation, Cristina was trial counsel for matters venued in federal court, state court and multiple arbitrations. Cristina also successfully represented a major online peer-to-peer transportation company in a dispute against its insurance company for personal injury and wrongful death claims in the San Francisco bay area. In addition to litigating matters, Cristina also counsels clients on the scope of their insurance programs and advises on existing and new coverage for organizations across a multitude of industries. Cristina has represented clients in matters involving environmental and remediation claims, data and network security (cyberliability), employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, professional liability, securities fraud, directors and officers ("D&O") liability, and claims under comprehensive general liability (CGL) policies.

Cristina also represents clients in industries that range from telecommunications, to financial institutions, pension funds trustees, technology companies, restaurants/food manufacturing and oil and chemical companies.

Cristina has counseled multiple pension fund trustees on issues ranging from fiduciary liability claims, establishing self-insurance programs, and advising on alternative coverage options.

Cristina has counseled a host of clients on their cyberliability policies, including public utilities, financial institutions, healthcare clients, public pension funds, and retail stores, to name a few.

More broadly, Cristina has represented clients in matters involving environmental and remediation claims, mortgage insurance, data and network security (cyberliability), employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, professional liability, securities fraud, directors and officers ("D&O") liability, and claims under comprehensive general liability (CGL) policies.

Cristina has also represented multiple clients in first-party property claims, including property damage, and business interruption claims.

Cristina is admitted to practice in California, including all state and federal courts.
