Innovation Required: New Delivery and Design of Work Models for the Legal Profession

In partnership with PNC’s Office of the General Counsel’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, the Women’s Initiative Network of Reed Smith invites you to a discussion about the changing legal profession and innovations to help lawyers, law firms and legal departments thrive in 2015 and beyond.

Acclaimed author and legal industry expert Deborah Epstein Henry will present the seven key themes in her new co-authored book on innovative legal models: innovation, value, predictability and trust, flexibility, talent development, diversity and inclusion, and relationship building. Debbie will discuss how embracing these seven concepts drives improvements in the delivery of client services and the lives of lawyers and, thereby, contributes to increased profitability, productivity and satisfaction.

Following Debbie’s presentation, she will moderate a conversation with Greg Jordan, PNC’s General Counsel; Chip Carter, Dean of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law; and Casey Ryan, Global Head of Legal Personnel of Reed Smith.

The conversation among these key leaders will tackle how innovative new models can more effectively deliver legal education and services. Attendees will gain insights into how to navigate the dynamic legal practice environment and seize opportunities as the legal profession evolves.
