A dual-qualified French Avocat à la Cour and UK Solicitor, Rosher specialises in international commercial and investment arbitrations in jurisdictions across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He focuses on disputes in the projects and construction and the energy and natural resources sectors, particularly in relation to oil and gas, power and major civil infrastructure projects. Before joining Pinsent Masons, Rosher had been with Clifford Chance’s International Arbitration practice in Paris for seventeen years.

Rosher graduated with an LLB degree in English and French Law with Upper Second Class Honors from the University of Leicester. Prior to that, he obtained a Diplome d' Etudes Juridiques Françaises law degree at the University of Strasbourg in France. Rosher also successfully completed a Master of Science degree with Merit in Construction Law and Arbitration at King’s College London.
A member of the International Arbitration Institute, the International Law Association and the London Court of International Arbitration, Rosher has further been appointed Secretary General of the association Paris, Home of International Arbitration, and he regularly lectures on international arbitration and construction at the Panthéon-Assas University and the University of Versailles.
“Paris is an important global arbitration centre, and Peter’s experience will provide critical bandwidth to our French clients and multinationals there and in other francophone jurisdictions,” said Reed Smith’s new International Arbitration chair José Astigarraga, who joined the firm in April with a seven-member arbitration team in Miami.
