For the third year in a row, two women from Reed Smith’s Financial Industry Group have been listed as leading transactional lawyers in IFLR1000’s Women Leaders 2020 list for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Tamara Box, from the firm’s London office, and Victoria Westcott, working in Paris, were selected because of their impressive track records and frequent praise of their advice and service from clients and peers, according to IFLR1000.

Box is the managing partner for Reed Smith in Europe and the Middle East and the former chair of the firm's Financial Industry Group. She has more than 20 years' experience advising arrangers, dealers, issuers and trustees in a wide range of debt instruments.

Westcott focuses on project finance, asset finance and export finance. She has a particular understanding of transportation and social infrastructure project finance, as well as energy sector finance. She has handled deals in Turkey, West Africa, and throughout Europe.

Women Leaders is a supplement based on research for IFLR1000, the guide to the world’s leading financial and corporate law firms and lawyers. Women Leaders recognizes IFLR1000 Leading Lawyers considered the best in their areas nationally.
