Miami-based partner Cristina Cárdenas along with Paris-based Andrew Tetley and Peter Rosher have been appointed by their ICC national committees (United States, New Zealand and France respectively) to be delegates to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

Rosher is the current global chair of Reed Smith’s international arbitration practice.

The Commission comprises members from more than 100 countries including lawyers, in-house counsel, arbitrators, mediators, law professors and experts in various dispute resolution fields. Its aim is to gather expertise on arbitration and ADR across the ICC network to enable thought leadership, in line with the strategic objectives of ICC Dispute Resolution Services.

These appointments build on the long tradition of Reed Smith being actively involved in, and at the fore of, thought leadership in the arbitration and ADR space.

Many Reed Smith international arbitration lawyers have been appointed to leadership roles in the arbitral community, including at the ICC. Former global chair of Reed Smith’s international arbitration practice, Jose Astigarraga, served as co-chair of the ICC Task Force on Enhancing the Value of Witness Evidence. International arbitration partner Andrew Tetley also served as a member of the ICC Court and was a member of the ICC Task Force on Arbitration and Financial Institutions.
