“At that moment, I knew that women and girls could do anything they want if they set their minds to it.”
This was what Colette Honorable felt when she heard the story of Malala Yousafzai. A young Pakistani girl who, just three years after being shot in the head by the Taliban, won the Nobel Peace Prize for the very same thing she was shot for – speaking publically about girls rights to education.
In the latest edition of the video series celebrating our partnership with #SeeHer, Colette Honorable talks about how seeing and hearing of another woman’s triumph helped to empower her “to do more and to do better.”
