Voirrey acts for salvors, ship owners, charterers and insurers based regionally and internationally. She undertakes initial casualty response, attending vessels to collect evidence and take witness statements, and has worked on a wide range of cases including collisions, groundings, pollution, cargo damage, unsafe ports, damage to main engines / machinery and general average. Voirrey has also worked on multiple salvage matters working for both salvors and owners. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Voirrey spent 8 years at sea serving as a deck officer with Holland America Line on passenger vessels and for Red Funnel on ro-pax and hi-speed craft. She came ashore as admiralty manager for Reed Smith in 2020.
