Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was senior counsel at a private equity-backed exploration and production company and its midstream affiliate with assets in the Appalachian basin. During her seven-year tenure at the company, Lauren held a number of different legal and commercial roles and managed key operating units and business transactions, including large asset acquisitions and divestitures, project management and corporate governance. Lauren’s past in-house experience provides her with a unique understanding of client sensitivities and expectations, from both a risk management and resources perspective.

Lauren received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2011, and her B.A. from Penn State University, where she is also currently a guest lecturer and advisory board member through the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences.
