Daniela is a litigation and restructuring associate at Reed Smith based in the firm’s Houston office. Daniela’s diverse practice ranges from complex commercial litigation disputes to debt restructuring within the complex chapter 11 context spanning across a variety of sectors. Daniela’s experience encompasses both domestic and international disputes.
Daniela also regularly serves her community, leveraging her bilingual skills through her participation in pro bono initiatives, through her representation of Spanish-speaking clients in immigration proceedings, as well as through her membership within the firm’s Hispanic/Latino Business Inclusion Group, UNIDOS. In 2024, Daniela was named Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year for Reed Smith’s Houston office.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Daniela served a two-year term as a federal judicial clerk for the Honorable Marvin Isgur. Daniela was also an associate at another international law firm.
While in law school, Daniela developed and sharpened her leadership and analytical skills through her position as Editor-In-Chief of the St. Mary’s Law Journal.
Daniela continues her commitment to growth and community as founding member of the Houston Women in Business for Good organization—a network of professionals dedicated to supporting social and environmental causes within their community.
