Amber Finch, a partner in Reed Smith’s Los Angeles office, has been honored for demonstrating a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law, garnering a prestigious Women, Influence and Power in Law award from Corporate Counsel, as announced on Aug. 18. Finch will be among those recognized at an awards dinner on Oct. 7 at the Women, Influence & Power in Law conference in Washington, D.C.

Finch, a member of the firm’s Insurance Recovery Group, was named in the ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Champion’ category.

The 2021 Women, Influence & Power in Law awards recognize partners and associates from law firms and general counsel from industry, who exelled in five categories, including DE&I. They also recognize general counsel/managing partners of the year; and lifetime achievers. “These women leaders are business strategists, complex problem-solvers … [dedicated] to the promotion of diversity in the legal industry.”
