Saladin Aljurf is a senior legal consultant in the Global Commercial Disputes Group based in Abu Dhabi. He has over 20 years of legal, regulatory and policy experience spanning the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
He has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, having advised on a range of disputes relating to issues such as real estate planning, development and sales, construction defect and variation, joint ventures, software licensing, drug patents and compulsory licensing, and general commercial dispute work across an array of sectors.
He has also assisted with the preparation and negotiation of agreements related to real estate development, master planning, sales, retail and commercial leasing, FIDIC, facilities and asset management, joint ventures, shipping, transportation, logistics, event sponsorship, marketing, advertising and publications.
Saladin is fluent in both English and Arabic. He received his BA in English Literature and Religious Studies from the University of Iowa, is MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, and his JD from the University of Iowa. He is a member of bars of Washington, D.C., Virginia, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
