Miriam is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group. Her experience includes acting for lenders, sponsors, borrowers, issuers, trustees and servicers on a variety of cross-border transactions across structured finance, funds finance, project finance and debt capital markets. She also works on social impact finance transactions.
Miriam has experience working in-house at BNY Mellon and HSBC. She has recently been seconded to NatWest Markets. Miriam trained at another international law firm where she had a particular focus on Africa and other emerging markets. She also completed an overseas secondment in Singapore.
Miriam is a huge advocate for pro bono work, particularly in relation to international development and human rights. She leads our work for Lawyers Without Borders, an international NGO that provides legal support to rule-of-law projects and initiatives in the human rights and global capacity-building sectors.
Miriam is a member of the firm’s Multicultural Network, which exists to give employees and clients of the firm opportunities to celebrate their differences and to raise awareness of and discuss the issues that are pertinent to black, Asian and ethnic minority (BAME) legal professionals.
