Kelly has extensive experience in all aspects of employee benefits law, with her primary focus on the legal issues associated with tax-qualified plans. In this capacity, she has represented domestic and international employers of all sizes, both public and private, with regard to compliance with the Internal Revenue Code and ERISA. Kelly also has experience working with governmental plans and not-for-profit plan sponsors. Her experience includes drafting plan documents and amendments of both defined contribution and defined benefit plans, drafting board materials and employee communications, advising plan sponsors on plan design issues, benefit claims and dispute resolution, corporate transactions, and other plan design issues.
