Leif is a partner in the Entertainment and Media Industry Group, and heads the firm’s television practice worldwide. He is a leading entertainment attorney who focuses on high-level business and finance transactions for the development, production, distribution, monetization and exploitation of content for all screens, including feature films, and particularly for television and new media. Having worked in corporate finance, represented top talent, and led a business affairs unit at FremantleMedia, Leif is a Hollywood insider who has sat on all sides of the table. His wide array of clients includes media conglomerates, major television networks and premium subscription video on demand (SVOD) exhibitors, feature film and TV studios, well-leveraged production companies, equity funds and high-net worth individuals, all of which are investing in and owning content. Leif also enjoys working with entrepreneurial, multi-hyphenate talent who work in different mediums, are building brands and running complex businesses. Leif expertly provides his clients with superlative counseling which includes business and legal advice, financial structuring, risk management, leveraging of his industry relationships, and global marketplace strategy.
